Graphic courtesy of a company that I cannot remember

Allow me to introduce myself, I am a member of the York Factory First Nation and I currently reside elsewhere, which may explain why some of the information is slightly dated. For those who are looking for more recent info, please visit the new official York Factory Site

I have been asked a couple of times as to why I decided to do the website for York Landing (York Factory First Nation). Aside from starting it as a project for my computer class, the other reason was to see if I could actually do it, and at the same time the website enhances the basic INAC listings.

The other reason that I set up the site on a free server with a pop-up is: it's free! What better incentive to set up a site? Aside from the updating and checking on the site, it is actually a low maintenance project.

And for the credits section:
Pictures/photos have been created through the use of a digital camera from the Future Development Program , graphics have been created via the use of a scanner and using available graphics, and I have supplied my own computer and software for the limited photo and graphics editing that I have had to do.

Yeah...it has been awhile since there was any updates done on this site since I first established it in 1998. Times have changed and so has the community. Wow...2007 and I still need to update the site with some recent pictures..there has been a few new places put up and the last time I put any pictures up, I was using a 3.4" floppy disc!A I will be checking the web-site periodically, especially after the ignorant remarks and spammers that seem to insist on signing the logbook with their C***!. I am glad you dropped by, and while you are here, please sign the GuestBook on the main page.
